Thistle and Poppy is a full-service hair salon located in the heart of the historic Boise Bench neighborhood in Boise, Idaho. We opened in 2016 with a clear purpose: to create a welcoming, comfortable space where beauty is approached with intention, for our clients and for the planet. Our team of experienced stylists offers a full range of hair services, from precision cuts and blowouts to balayage, highlights, color correction, and vivid color. We're also a certified Green Circle Salon, meaning sustainability isn't just a value we talk about — it's woven into the way we operate every day.

You'll find us at 1407 S Vista Ave, Boise, Idaho — in the historic Boise Bench neighborhood. We're easy to reach from South Boise and the surrounding area, with on-site parking available.

From the way we handle salon waste to the products we put on your hair, every decision is made with care for the planet alongside care for you.

Green Circle Salons is a certified B Corp program that helps salons divert waste from landfills by collecting and recycling materials that most salons discard — things like hair clippings, foils, color tubes, and chemical waste. As a certified Green Circle Salon, Thistle and Poppy recycles up to 95% of all salon waste. Green Circle has also been recognized by the Carbon Trust for meeting the highest standards of environmental and social responsibility. It's a program we're genuinely proud to be part of.
