Barb opened Thistle and Poppy Salon in 2016 with a vision to create a welcoming space to share with others.
Since establishing her cosmetology career in 2004 Barb has enjoyed continuing her education, learning new and improved techniques. Blondes are her jam, give her all the blondes from platinum to lived in. Barb also specializes in short cuts, long layers, and ooh a blunt bob- yes please! Barb is a native to Idaho and Boise is her home. She can be found outside the salon enjoying Idaho’s great outdoors and traveling abroad with her family.
